Google office mural of U2 lyrics

This office mural was designed and painted for the newly established Google office in Bolands Mills, Dublin. This project holds significant meaning as it pays homage to the rich history of Bolands Mills, which dates back to 1873 when a local baker named Patrick Boland acquired two stonecut flour mill buildings that gracefully overlooked the scenic Grand Canal Dock. Over the years, Bolands Mills became an esteemed Dublin landmark, symbolizing the city's heritage.

The inspiration behind the mural stems from the vintage packaging of Bolands from the early 20th century. By incorporating elements reminiscent of this era, Vanessa aimed to evoke a sense of nostalgia and celebrate the building's historical significance. Furthermore, Google graciously supplied her with the poignant lyrics from a U2 song that beautifully resonated with the essence of Bolands Mills.
